“The President’s Suit”
The cream-flavored suit jacket – it was my favorite one that I owned. Not only that, but it reminded me a lot about the “Hall of Fame” jackets that were awarded to its members.
When I look it, it gives off a positive feeling to it; a can-do sort of attitude. The same sort of energy that’s needed to have a dream and accomplish great things. It is also the same energy which is subject to suppression of other people who have had theirs silenced.
I keep this in mind as I inform those who wish to know about my professional goals. For anyone who is a visionary, like I am, must be aware of deterrence.
Perhaps, I try to shield myself with multiple layers of confidence. Maybe, I throw too many layers which pushes me towards ostentatious.
That’s the feeling I get when I look at the bright gold tie with a silver-gold tie clip underneath. Is it confidence? Is it arrogance? These are the questions that the visionaries face, and maybe it works in the interest of the fire stompers. Maybe, this is what the fire stompers wanted.
There will always come a point in time where there’s water to the fire; where the visionaries are conflicted either because of their own thoughts or someone else’s. One must remember, that like most things in life, it will reach an impasse. The strength of the fire will be tested, but that’s when the real learning begins.
The Jordans and the Superman socks are the best part of the suit. These are my own flare that I add to the outfit.
This symbolizes the spin that one places on something. This is important as how can something be considered one’s own when much or most of it has the touch of someone else?
The King’s Throne
“The King’s Throne” - the last piece to complete “the Triumvirate” (not an actual triumvirate, but three notable and meaningful objects that I assign power and a sentiment to).
With the other two pieces, I included pictures for a visual aid. This time, I refrain from doing so. Not because it’s hard finding a picture of a throne, but because I don’t have a throne. The deeper significance in this lies in the fact that this is something that I am in pursuit of.
The exclusion of a throne visual is not set as a deterrence, but as more motivation to acquire one or multiple.
Ideally, I’d rather not have a picture of it. It represents the point to which a lot has been accomplished, far more than what I currently have done.
However, make no doubt about it, I will get to that point. Once I have it, it will not only represent my success, but it will serve as another testament that it is possible for visions to become realities. It will serve as testament to the strength of one’s fire.
